Shillong , July 28: The Field Exhibition Unit of the Directorate Of Advertising & Visual Publicity, DAVP, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting Govt. Of India is organizing a 5- day Health Awareness photo exhibition at Community Hall in Mawtneng village in Ri-Bhoi Dist, Meghalaya here from 26.7.2014.
The Exhibition was formally inaugurated by Sri Agusstine Sten, Head-Man of Mawtneng Village & Secretary of Women Association Ri-Bhoi Dist at 11.30 a.m. on Saturday the 26th July’2014.
The exhibition covers various health awareness issues like Sanitation, disease prevention through vaccination, mother & child health care. Awareness building among the community members through self-explanatory photographs will be the main thrust.
The exhibition will remain open for general public from 11.00 a.m. to 04.00 p.m. from July 26th to 30th July’14. said the official press statement.(SP News)
