Jowai, July 08: The District Magistrate of West Jaintia Hills has directed all people involving in illegal collection of money from the truck drivers carrying limestone plying towards Tamabil Land Custom Station on the stretch of NH-40 (E) near Khar Lamin and Sokha Villagers to immediately stop collecting money on the road side without proper sanction from the Government.
People indulging in such activities should stopped immediately, falling which necessary action under Law will be taken and as under Section 383/384 of the IPC.
