Shillong, December 23: The four MDCs of the Hills State People’s Democratic Party (HSPDP) in the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council (KHADC) today sent their letter of support to the Chief Executive Members (CEM) Mr PN Syiem led Executive Committee the People Democratic Front (PDF).
In the letter sent to the CEM of the KHADC sing by the four MDC of the HSPDP, stated that “ We the undersigned members of the HSPDP after consultation with our party would like to pledge our support to the People Democratic Front in KHADC”.
“ The reson for our support is to provide stability to the current Executive Committee headed by youas the CEM. At the same time we also urged to continue to take up issues pertaining to our customs and tradition for the welfare of our indigenous populace”.
The leeter was sign by Smti Teilinia S Thangkhiew as pp leader, Mr Samlin Malngniang as PP Secretary, Mr BB Warjri and Mr Pyniaid S Syiem as PP Members. With the support of this four HSPDP Members the ruling PDF in the KHADC has a total number of 22 in the house of 29 and the opposition 7 from the Congress and the nominated MDC is yet to be nominate to have the total numbers of thirty.
