Shillong, June 05: The Home Minister Smti Roshan Warjri personally visited garo hills and met the people to instill the confidence in the people that the state Government will leave no stone unturned to nape the culprit who are involved in shutting the lady in South Garo Hills.
The Home minister visited the brief family along with the official from South Garo Hills District, which accompanies by the DIG law and order, the Superintendent of police of the south Garo Hills District.
After meeting the family the Home Minister Directed the District Administration to render all possible help to the brief family. She has also directed the District Administration to give counseling to the children’s.
At Chockpot the home minister call the review meeting on law and order situation that prevail in the south Garo Hills District. While returning back to Tura from south garo Hills , home minister call for the meeting of the government official to discuss about the law and order scenario in GaroHills.
The home minister inform that the government has sent reinforcement of para-military force to Garo Hills to assist the police in tackling militancy activities in the region.(SP News)
