Shillong, June 29: The Chief Executive Member of the Garo Hills Autonomous District Council Mr Denang T Sangma has written to the state government to released money sanction by the Government of India to the Autonomous District Council.
Speaking to SP News Agency, Mr Sangma said that he has written to the state government to release the money to the GHADC that was sanction by the central government that is due to the District Council, but till date the state government has not released the money.
Answering to quires, the CEM of the GHADC said that they are planning to meet all the three CEM of the Autonomous District council to discuss among them if the state government is delaying in releasing the fund. Mr Sangma said that if the government is not releasing the fund in time it will be difficult for the District Council to submit utilization certificate in time.
On the same issue the KHADC, CEM Mr PN Syiem also earlier inform that the found sanction by the GOI to the ADCs has not been released but when asked whether the three CEM of the ADC will meet or not to take up the issue with the state government, he said that they have not yet discuss.(SP News)
