Jowai, January 31: The police of Jowai has arrested Mr Benedict Siangshai after recived the complaints from Mr Marbiangki War and six others of Umshyngiar Khanduli village the the accused person has taken Rs.2,80,000 from them with the promised to get them job in police department.
In the complaints Marbiangki said that in the month of September 2014 one Benedict Siangshai, impersonated as Police personnel and claimed to be a close friend of an IPS officer, cheated them of Rs. 2,80,000/- with a promise to provide them jobs in the Police Department.
After getting the complaint the Police of West Jiantia Hills District arrested the accused on on 3oth January 2017.
