Shillong, May 01: The MDC of 23-Rongrong GHADC Constituency Mr. Rinaldo K Sangma after getting complaints from the residents of Beru Bari and Sarongkol under Resubelpara of North garo Hills District today visited the site where the road is constructed.
The MDC along with the village elders visited the road and observed that the road construction is being done in a very poor manner as express by the village elders of Beru Bari and Sarongkol under Resubelpara.
The MDC inquired from the Executive Engineer, PWD Roads incharge of North Garo Hills, is found that the contract work is allotted to one Takin Arengh. He Mr. Rinaldo has written to the Deputy Commissioner of North Garo Hills to direct the contractor to rectify the work.
Mr. Rinaldo stated that he will write to the Public Accounts Committee to see tht the matter is resolved at the earliest, during his inspection of the road he was accompany along with the village elders of the areas.
