Shillong, August 09: Mr Nilaj Mahalanavis Circle business head for the North Eastern Region to today announced that the company is launching “1GB for all” data packs in North East, at the Shillong Club. This will benfits to the data packs user as per their usage patern.
Mr Nilaj while answering to quires said that lack of sufficient towers let to poor network converage of aicrcel in the Shillong City. The company needs to have additional towers between 35 to 40 towers in the city itself.
The company is trying to get place to set up more towers in the city but they are not getting place due to hurdle put by the dorbar shnong and the MUDA. If additional towers connote be erected the problem of net work services will remain.
The company has increase the mega haut spectrum from 900 to 1800 mega haut spectrum , the company will not go for 4G at this juncture but they will utilized first the 3G that they are using in the market.
