Tura, July 02: Legislator of Dalu constituency, Kenethson Sangma has appealed the militants to release shoe trader Tapan Saha, who was abducted on Sunday.
“He is a poor man who will not be able to meet the demands they are making. I would like to appeal the abductors to release him, so that he can go back to his family”, he said. The legislator has sought deployment of additional security forces in the areas.
In the last 20 days, three traders and a teacher were abducted from
Dalu and its adjoining area.(SP News)
