MAKO won a maiden title in a Pro National Kick Boxing Championship

Shillong, April 21: In the recently concluded WAKO INDIA PRO NATIONAL KICKBOXING CHAMPIONSHIP,2014 (Men & Women) held from 11th to 13 April at Bhagwat Ground, Barbil, Keonjhar, Odisha organized by the Amateur Kickboxing Association of Odisha and Sanctioned by National Kickboxing Federation India (NKFI).

The lone participant from Meghalaya Mr.Hame Shaniah Suiam under the Leadership of Mr.Donny Ranee Vice President of NKF1,President of Meghalaya Association Kickboxing of

Organisation (MAKO) & a Coach was able to win his Professional Kickboxing Fight in Ring Sport In Low Kick Below 51 KG (Men) by defeating his tough opponent from Himachal radesh, Jamrnu & Kashmir and from Andhra Pradesh in the Final Bout to Claim his title as a winner and won cash worth of Rs 10,000 (Ten thousand) only.

This is the first time that MAKO has won a title in a PRO NATIONAL KICKBOXING CHAMPIONSHIP.

Hame Shaniah a Class 1 2 student from St. Edmund’s College who took part in the above Championship just after his final Exams was also a National Medallist since his Sub-Junior age winning Medals for the State in the year 2008 & 2009.(SP News)
