Meghalaya is rich in natural resources why half of the population is poor: RM Mishra

Mr RM Mishra Principal secretary planning.Shillong, February 13: The principal Secretary to the government of Meghalaya of planning Department Mr R M Mishra in his introductory address on a three day training on the importance  of training on project management held at the State central Library, said that Meghalaya is rich in natural resources why half of the population is poor.

While addressing the inaugural function of this three day training on project planning and management, Mr Mishra point out that in the good all days people are not much ambitious, but now people’s aspiration are high and if we do not aspire will be nowhere.

He also mentions that “If we formulate project just as a routine it will not work, but the heart must be active otherwise nothing will happen”. He said earlier people are powerful but at this generation technology are powerful.

The principal secretary urged upon thus people who are privilege enough to be in the helm of affair to understand that while making the planning process, that whatever they plan they are planning for whom this the question they have to asked to themselves.

The training was organized by the government of India ministry of Statistics and programme implementation, and the key note speaker in this three day training is Mr D K Ojha director of statistic GOI, others who were  present are  Dr BDR Tiwari  IAS Secretary govt of Meghalaya, and many officers from various department government of Meghalaya.
