Shillong, Feb 03: In the continuing its endeavor of providing Medicare at the door- steps of the Border inhabitants, Composite Hospital, BSF Shilling organized another camp at Border area Shella on 2nd Feb’ 2019.
During this camp more than 70 male and female got their dental checkup done and were provided with required medication and advise.
As a follow up action of Eye screening camp organized in this area on 9th & 10th Jan’ 2019, 111 Border inhabitants were provided with vision corrective glass under the mission vision.
The camp was inaugurated by Medical Superintendent of the Composite Hospital, BSF Dr. A C Bhardwajan, DIG and Mr. Rajashekar K N, Commandant 123 Bn BSF.
Speaking on the occasion, the Headman of the area thanked BSF in general & Composite Hospital, BSF in particular for extending such service at the door steps of the Border inhabitants.He expressed gratitude to BSF for providing vision corrective glasses to needies.
Concluding the camp Dr. A C Bhardwajan, DIG, BSF assured the local population that such camps will be conducted regularly and appealed then to spread the message to other, so that more & move Border inhabitants can avail the facilities provided by BSF Hospital, Shillong.
It is Pertinent to note that under the “Mission Vision” – BSF has provided not only the vision corrective glasses but arranged operation of cataract too.
