Shillong, May 14: The MCIC 19th South Shillong Constituency under the leadership of Shri Sanbor Shullai MLA cum Chairman, organized a get together ceremony on 13th May 2017 which was attended by various beneficiaries comprises of Church Committees, Puja Committees/Monastery Committees/Mandir Committees,Temple Committees, Gurudwara Committees, Dorbar Shnong committees, Sports Social & Cultural Organizations & Man and women Charitable Trust of 19th South Shillong Constituency, which begins with a prayer service.
Thereafter, Shri Sanbor Shullai-MLA release and handed over a sanctioning work orders for a total amount of Rs 2,00,000,00/- (Rupees Two Crores) funded under SUWP Scheme 2016-17 to various above noted committees through Shri Anthony Marwein Secretary MCIC 19th South Shillong Constituency to be implemented for various public developmental activities/ Financial Support to the poor and down trodden families/ poor BPL Students, Specially able Peoples, Fire victims, Natural Calamities victims, Cancer patients etc within 19th South Shillong Constituency.
Shri Sanbor Shullai-MLA urged upon all committees and general public to extend their support and co-operation as a token of collective responsibility for smooth, accountability and transparency for implementing the said scheme for the welfare and benefits of general public at large.
