Shillong, Jan 30: Today the Vice Chairman of the State Government Programme Implementation and monitoring Committee Mr Vijay Raj tender his resignation to the Chief Minister of Meghalaya Mr Cornad K Sangma.
In the resignation letter sent to the Chief Minister today Mr Raj mention that the reason for his resignation is due to the opposition from some NGO’s that I was the president of the Non Tribal Youth Union.
In the resignation letter he has also mention that he has made his clarification that he was never been the president of the NTYU but some NGOs is continuing their opposition against his appointment in his opinion is hampering the function of the state government.
Mr Raj in his resignation letter said that he do not want state to suffer, therefore he tender his resignation from the post of Vice Chairman of the SGPIMC, but he assured that he will continued to work for the betterment of the state.
