Shillong, June 11: The Chairman of the Meghalaya State Pollution Control Board (MSPCB) Mr CP Marak said that the board has deputed its officers to check all the industries in the state of Meghalaya whether they are complying with the ruling of the Supreme Court to have affluent plant.
Speaking to SP News Agency the Chairman of the MSPCB Mr Marak, inform that they are on the job to check whether the related industries in the state are complying with the Supreme Court ruling that all related industry in the Country should have affluent plant before 22th May 2017.
Mr Marak said that there are 400 related Industries in the state of Meghalaya, the office has deputed its officers to check if this related industries have comply with the ruling of the supreme Court. The Board has already formed the team for different zone after completing their inspection they will have to submit the report to the Supreme Court.
The inspection is going on; the 400 numbers of related industries that he has mention is for thus who have attain their permission according to the norms. He Mr Marak also said that the board has form a nine member’s team so that they could complete their inspection at the earliest, said Mr Marak.
