Shillong, October 26: State Blood Transfusion Council and Meghalaya AIDS Control Society in collaboration with Licensed Blood Banks will be organising the State Level observation of National Voluntary Blood Donation Day 2016 on 27th October, 2016 at Conference Hall, Pasteur Institute, Shillong from 10:00 AM onwards.
Additional Chief Secretary, Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Meghalaya, Shri. Y Tsering will be the Chief Guest at the function. The objective of the programme is to promote awareness, voluntary blood donation and felicitation of regular voluntary blood donors.
