Shillong, North-Eastern Hill University Second National Moot Court Competition, 2018 which was organised by Department of Law, NEHU Shillong, came to an end on the 6th October, 2018 with the Valedictory Ceremony.
The Chief Guest for the occasion was Shri. Amit Kumar, Advocate General, Govt. of Meghalaya and the Guest of Honour was Prof. J. S. Patil, Vice Chancellor, NLUJAA Guwahati.
The Inaugural Ceremony was held on the 4th of October, 2018 where Shri. James. P. K. Sangma, Law Minister, Govt. of Meghalaya grace the occasion as the Chief Guest and Justice (Retd). B. D. Agarwal, President, Nagaland State Consumer Commission was the Guest of Honour.
In this year competition, the moot problem was based on corporate and company law. 18 institutes/ law colleges/ universities all across India participated and the winner of this competition was Chanakya National Law University, Patna and the runner’s up was Amity Law School, Kolkatta.
