Shillong, November 04: The pressure put by the police in flashing out the militant group in Garo Hills is on, today one GNLA member Mr Martin K Sangma surrender himself before the police of East Garo Hills District and he deposited one country made pistol.
Police sources said that the operation against the militants in East Garo Hills and South Garo Hills District are on after the incident of abduction of ten traders from Assam that was released recently by the suspected militant group.
Recently five members of the GNLA groupd surrender before the police in East Garo Hills District and today one GNLA surrender sources said that many more GNLA members are coming to surrender in the coming days to join the main stream.
