Shillong, October 26: Today an encounter tool place in South Garo District Hills between the police and the suspected GNLA militant and one suspected militant shot death.
When contacted the police it was confirm that the encounter took place with the jurisdiction of South Garo Hills District. The operation is on to nap the militants.
The name of the militant who was shot death during the encounter is yet to be ascertaining since no identification could recover from the deceased person. Combing operation is on.
