Shillong, March 04: One person died on the spot and two other sustained injuries when the Maruti 800, local taxi they were travelling on hit a truck parked on the side of the road. The incident happened near the MLP, 1st Battalion gate at Mawlai Mawiong, Shillong on the 4th of March, 2014 at 2:51 P.M. The 108 Emergency Service Ambulance based in Shillong helped in shifting the two injured Deepak Manus (46years/male) and Sunil Chakraborty (40years/male) to Shillong Civil Hospital.
Mandini Lamare (19years/male) sustained injuries, when the cycle he was riding collided with a Maruti Alto at Mynsngat under Thadlaskein Block, West Jaintia Hills on the 3rd of March, 2014 at 5:39 P.M. The 108 Emergency Service Ambulance based in Nartiang helped in shifting Mandini Lamare to Nartiang PHC.(SP News)
