Outreach Programme for Indian Railway Health Service officials conducted at Maligaon

Maligaon, Oct 11: An outreach program for IRHS (Indian Railway Health Service) officers was conducted by the National Academy of Indian Railways (NAIR), Vadodara at the N.F. Railway Central Hospital, Maligaon recently. This was the first of its kind programme organized.

The program was held in hybrid mode with speakers being both online and offline. Several present day topics of importance on Health administration and  Industrial health were covered by the speakers during their elaborate presentations.

Dr. Kamlesh Gosai, Dy. Director General and NAIR delivered the welcome address, Dr. G.K. Chakraborty, Pr. Chief Medical Director of the N.F. Railway delivered the inaugural address and Dr. Vijay Kumar, acting Director General, Railway Health Service, New Delhi delivered the Key note address respectively.

About thirty  doctors participated in the programme virtually from different divisions of N.F. Railway. The program was also attended virtually by the Pr. Chief Medical Directors of different zones spreading all over Indian Railways.
