Shillong, June 25: The Chief Justice of Meghalaya High Cour Justice Dinesh Maheshmari, in his address to the 18th National Seminar of the Institute Company Sectaries of India at the state Convention Hall Shillong on Saturday said that the North East is contributing to the growth of the country.
While referring to the North East, The Chief Justice said that the Constitution of India is not a book but it is concept, and in the constitution it was written about the fundamental right and fundamental duties, and we have the Sixth Schedule of the constitution of India, that how the people of the region were recognized and protect their identity.
The Chief Justice said that company secretary now have become central sector dealing with for the growth of the economy of the country, and now they are not only looking after the company affair but they can also appear before tribunal in the Court, the job of the company secretary is a professional job.
India has surpassed many countries, and one of them is in the corporate sector, and where company secretary is where the corporate is recycling around. The Chief justice said that no one can claim that they know everything but what needed is to learn new thing that come.This two day national Seminar is the first of its kind that was held in the North Eastern state.
