Tura, June 06: Today an encounter took place at the Dorama Hills in East Garo Hills District between the police and the suspected militant who shelter in their camp in the area. The encounter lasted more than two hours.
Sources said that heavy exchange of firing from both side, till file of these repot no casualties were reported from either side. The combing operation in the area is on to flash out the militant from the thick jungle.
Sources said that from the two abundant camps of the militant the police has recover huge arms and ammunition which belong to the militant. (SP News)
