Shillong, June 15: At around 7.35 AM today personal security officer Mr Kyrshan Kharnaior 31, attached to the former chief minister Dr DD Lapang who is also sitting MLA shot death himself from his service revolver at his residence of New Colony Laitumkhrah, Shillong.
The relative rushed him to the Woodland Hospital Shillong where he was declare death and hospital authority has asked to take the death body to civil hospital for necessary formalities to be done.
The police have registered a case and the postmortem was conducted at the Civil Shillong Hospital. The police has initiated the investigation to ascertain the fact which let to the incident that Mr Kharnaior has shot death himself from his service revolver.(SP News)
