Shillong, February 14: The Deputy Commissioner (Supply) East Khasi Hills District, Shillong has informed that Rice under NFSA 2013 for Priority House Holds (PHH) & Antyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY) for the month of January, February, 2017 quota in Urban and Rural areas and ISS Grade Sugar 30 under TPDS for the month of July, 2016 quota has been released and will be distributed through the respective Fair Price Shops.
AAY quota of rice will be distributed at the scale of 35 kgs per card at the rate of Rs. 3.00/- per kg per month while PHH quota of rice will be distributed at the scale of 5 kgs per head at the rate of Rs. 3.00/- per kg per month. ISS Grade Sugar 30 will be distributed at the scale of 3 kgs per card at the rate of Rs. 30.00/- per kg.
All Fair Price Shop dealers of the District are requested to lift the allotted quota of rice and ISS Grade Sugar 30 immediately and to arrange the distribution to the beneficiaries. Further, the Fair Price Shop dealers are also directed to display the list of AAY beneficiaries in their respective shops.
Any non-supply or overcharging of rate and supply of inferior quality of rice and ISS Grade Sugar 30 by the Fair Price Shop dealers should be immediately brought to the notice of the Deputy Commissioner (Supply) East Khasi Hills District, Shillong.
