Ampati, April 19: Continuing with its efforts to spread awareness to the public on road safety and traffic rules, the district police in collaboration with the district administration organized back to back awareness meetings with the general public at Betasing and Salmanpara in south West Garo Hills on Wednesday.
During these meetings, police officials briefed the participants on the need to maintain traffic rules and about various provisions under Motor Vehicles Act. They were also made aware about the precautions that should take to avoid road accidents.
