Baghmara, June 02: The Garo Students Union Southern visited the Baghmara Civil Hospital and found out many failures, which are; regular X-Ray machine is damage, toilet leaking in front of the hospital which is causing hserious smell, most of the ceiling fans are not functioning, leakage of roof causing certain damage of mattresses.
A part from these, cleanliness is improve than before as we have verified. With those grievances, since there are many more which have to be done by higher authority, It is a shame to the civil hospital and shameful to the Govt.
In this regard, The GSU urge the District Medical and Health Officer of Baghmara to kindly look into the matter and to do the initiative for the utmost necessity at the earliest. So that it will serve a better future and a better service to the people in general.
On the other hand, the GSU yet again looking forward to apprise the various prevailing grievances of Baghmara Civil Hospital to the Higher Authority of the concerned department and also we appeal to the State Government of Meghalaya to fulfil the overall developments of what is required urgently.
