Shillong, June 06: The President of the Meghalaya BJP state Unit today has appointed five presidents in Garo Hills District and one in Ri Bhoi District. This appointment will be for three years term.
Mr Rakesh Marak is appointed as president of East Garo Hills District, Pesath Sangma of West Garo Hills District, Dillash Marak for Tura City District, Paul R Marak for North Garo Hills District, Ananda Koch fro South West Garo Hills District, and Ri Bhoi District Mr Banbuhai Makdoh.
The president also appointed senior members of the party to be incharge of the District and Constituencies former MLA Edmund Sangma incharge of Tura, Rikman Momin of East Garo Hills, Dr K C Boro of West Garo Hills, including Tikrikilla, Phulbari, Raksamgre and Rajabala. Pramod Koch he will be incahrge Selsella and Dadenggre in West Garo Hills District.
Mr Santosh Marak will be uncharged of South Garo Hills District, Premnanda Koch he will look after South West Garo Hills District, Digros D Shira North Garo Hills District, Sofior Rahaman is appointed as Minority Morcha President, also Dillash Marak, Bukul Hajong and Pesath Sangma.
