Shillong, August 28: The Consultative Committee related to the Sweeper Colony at Themiew Mawlong headed by the Urban Affair Minister have submitted the Report to the High Level Committee (HLC) and now more or less the issue that they discussed from one meeting to other meeting reached the final stage so hope fully in the next meeting will finalise everything and submit the report to the Government.
The Chairman of the HLC Mr Prestone Tynsong who is also Deputy Chief Minister said that there will be one more meeting will be there by the committee then we will compile everything then will send to the state government for necessary action.
The deputy Chief Minister said that “I don thing i can tell you what ever we have in the meeting if the issued are there we discussed i can just tell you everything”.
“Please wait we will have one more meeting then will tell you everything the decision taken and what is the report to be submitted to the government. In the next meeting will be able to submit the detail report to the government”, said Deputy Chief Minister.
Now what is left is to finalise the draft Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Shillong Municipal Board and Hima Mylliem after finalisation of the MoU the HLC will sit again and take the final decision and submit the report to the Government and will be place before the Cabinet for the final decision.
