Shillong, March 25: A Career Awareness Programme for the students was organized on 25th March, 2024 at Tyrannus Hall, Shillong under the aegis of Pro Bono Associate Club, Department of Law NEHU, Shillong in collaboration with the Rongmei Phwam Shillong (RPS) and Rongmei Chamnac Phwam Shillong (RCPS).
The event was graced by dignitaries such as Shri Gaikungam Rongmei, Director and Vigilance Officer, Geological Survey of India, NER, Shillong, Wg. Cdr. Kaphungai Panmei, Provost Marshall, Eastern Air Command, Shri Njiangong Gangmei Senior Audit Officer, AG (Audit) Meghalaya.
Dr. Lungchuingam Malangmei, NEIGRIHMS and Shri Kasangai Dangmei, Prime Fellow, PSREF, Meghalaya and Mr. P. Gangmeih, Advocate as the resource persons.
The resource persons of the programme presented insightful career opportunities in various sectors ranging from Armed forces, UPSC, SSC, banking and insurance, medical sciences, legal studies, entrepreneurship, etc.
Interactive sessions with the resource persons were also part of the programme. Advisor to RPS, Dr. Richard Gangmei, Registrar, William Carey University, Shillong, Meghalaya host the event.
The said programme was attended by more than 100 people, said Mr. P Gangmeih Coordinator Pro Bono Associate Club, Department of Law, NEHU, Shillong.
