Shillong, June 22: The District Planning Officer, West Garo Hills Tura has invited Applications from interested Registered Voluntary Agencies (Vas)/ Non-Governmental Organisation (NGOs) for consideration of providing financial assistance for 2016- 2017. The activities included for the year 2016-2017 under this scheme are short term seminars or workshop with the maximum budget estimate of the proposal which should not exceed Rs. 50,000/-.
The financial assistance to be sanctioned under VAF/ NGO/ SHG shall initially be scrutinized by the screening Committee. Interested NGO/ SHG/ VAF are to submit their proposals along with the write-up of the scheme, detailed estimate, registration certificate, Bank account, Annual report, EPIC of President and Secretary, members list and particulars of the office bearers of the group.
The application form can be collected during office hours from 10:30 AM till 5:00 PM at Room No. 206, Planning Branch, Office of the Deputy Commissioner, West Garo Hills, Tura.The last date for submission of the application form is on 7th July, 2017. Incomplete proposal will be summarily rejected. No proposals will be entertained after the fixed date mentioned above.
