The Election to the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly will held on 27 February 2018

New Delhi, January 18: The Election Commission of India today announces the election to the three states in North East, Nagaland, Meghalaya and Tripura. The pulling date for the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly is on the 27th February 2018.

Poll Events for the state of Meghalaya for all 60 Assembly Constituencies the Date of Issue of Gazette Notification 31.01.2018. Last Date of Nominations 07.02.2018 .Date for Scrutiny of Nominations 08.02.2018 .Last Date for Withdrawal of candidatures 12.02.2018.Date of Polling 27.02.2018 Tuesday and the date of Counting 03.03.2018 and the  date before which election shall be completed 05.03.2018. The terms of the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly will expired on the  06.03.2018.

The total number of electorate in the state of Meghalaya in this upcoming MLA Election to the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly the total elector are 18,30,104 lakh and the number of polling station are 3082. All the voters in Meghalaya are 100% having with Election Photos Identity Cards.The Election to the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly will be held in single phase.

The Election to the Nagaland Legislative Assembly will be held on the same date with the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly and the Election to the Tripura Legislative Assembly will be held on the 18.02.2018 on Sunday.
