Shillong, July 17: The MLA of 19-Shillong South Mr. Sanbor Shullai inaugurated the first organic market cum Dorbar Hall of the Dorbar Shnong of Lumshatsngi on Satuarday that was constructed ynder the 13th Finance Commission at he cost of Rs. 4.41 cores.
Mr. Sanbor Shullai Minister who is the local MLA, during his speech has appealed to all for strengthening the love, respect for secularism but not communalism.
All the speakers during the function lauded the sustain efforts of Local MLA in bringing various kind of public interest development schemes for Lumshatsngi Kench’s Trace in particular and the 19th South Shillong Constituency in general.
The programme was chaired by Shri Kyrsoi Bok Nongbri-Rangbah Shnong and Shri Venus Pamthied- Secretary Shnong of Dorbar Shnong Lumshatsngi -Kench’s Trace followed by Traditional and Cultural Dance.
The programme was attended by official of Urban Affairs Department, Shillong Municipal Board, Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council, office of the Syiem of Hima Mylliem, official of Raid Laban Dorbar, Rangbah Shnong, Secretary Shnong of various Dorbar Shnong of Raid Laban, Seng Kynthei of various Dorbar Shnong of Raid Laban, Shopkeepers and resident s of Lumshatsngi Kench’s Trace.
The function ended by the vote of thanks addressed by Shri Herbert Syiem- Asstt. Secretary of Dorbar Shnong Lumshatsngi-Kench’s Trace.
