Shillong, September 12: The Executive committee of the Garo Hills Autonomous District council (GHADC) today has taken the decision and issued on order directing all the employees of the District council to resumed to their duties by Wednesday or face legal action, said Dipul R Marak Em incharge Civil work.
Speaking to SP News Agency over phone said that, many employees of the GHADC, after understanding the genuineness of the problems face by the Council many of them resume their office today. The Executive Committee felt that the staff should comply with the order given from the District Council.
The executive committee understand the hardship face by the employees of the GHADC, from the EC they have assured the staff that they will pay their salary with a period of one month, but they are not listing to the request action will be taken up to the extent of terminating thus employees who are not cooperating from their service.
The employees should also thing about the public who are coming to the District for their daily need, and particularly thus people who need bails, due to this Non corporation movement even the water supply to the Tura town was afftected.
