The Government should hold talk with all militant, including HNLC: Conrad

Shillong, June 13: The National People President (NPP) Conrad K Sangma said that the government should be ready to hold talk with any militant outfit if they are willing to come over ground for peace talk, including the HNLC that is the stand of the party.

Conrad said that if the HNLC is ready to come for peace talk the government should be ready to accept so that peace and tranquility prevail in the state, the state need peace for over all development of the state.

On the law and order scenario in the Garo Hills region he said that the government should rehabilitate   all thus militants who come to surrender before the government, the government should not allowed that another’s splinter group come out.

The NPP national president Mr Conrad said that they urged the state and the central government should call them for talk, if rule are the hurdle make it simpler we make the rule if required let the rule be change for the interest of the state.

The  NPP is happy to see that thus misguided youth has come forwards to surrender  before the government, the government should help them in proper way so that it will not boomerang  in the near future the government should handle the issue very cautiously.
