Shillong, June 07: The Garo Student Union (GSU) Southern Zone urged the PWD (roads) Department Baghmara Division to kindly look after the PWD Roads at Baghmara Town. There should be regular repairing and properly maintained, GSU added. Some portion of the roads are in complete mess up with a lot of potholes, full of muddies and a stagnant water in the middle of the roads.
The Union also suggested the concern department in a letter that proper drainage system should be made in order to prevent damage effect for the roads. The GSU said that if the department failed to fulfill their genuine demands, GSU will resort to agitation in a democratic way said Mr Chuba R Marak president.
