Shillong, July 19: The Jaintia Students Union’s Khliehriat Circle condemnation of the government’s actions regarding the upgrading of the CHC hospital to Civil Hospital In Khliehriat is a significant statement reflecting their concern about the state of healthcare facilities in East Jaintia Hills district.
It seems that the government has announced the upgrading of the hospital since last one year, but according to the students’ union, it lacks proper hospital equipment and infrastructure to deliver quality healthcare services effectively.
The students’ union’s criticism highlights the importance of not merely upgrading facilities in name but ensuring that the hospital receives all the necessary resources to function effectively and provide adequate healthcare services.
