Shillong, March 27: The two MDC of the South West Khasi Hills District, Mr Hedrian Lyngdoh of the UDP who is also the Executive Member of the Executive Committee, in the council and Mr Manstudy Nongrem of the Congress in the joint letter sent to the Chief Executive Members Mr Ardent M Basaiawmoit asked for the branch office of the KHADC in Mawkyrwat.
With the creation of the new district the South West Khasi Hills District it has immensely benefited the people of Langrin and Mawkyrwat constituency for the official purpose. Since the District council has it owns roll in the administration in the area it will be benefited for the people to have the branch office at the head quarter of the District in Mawkyrwat.
In the joint letter sent to the CEM the two MDC has request that if the Executive Committee incited to put up the branch office of the KHADC by allotting some fung from the 13th Finance commission.(SP News)
