The NCP will contest not less than 40 seat in the outcoming MLA election 2018

Shillong, June16: The secretary incharge North Eastern State Mr Narendra Verma say that in the outcoming election MLA 2018 to the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly that the National Congress Party NCP, the party will contest not less than 40 seats and it should be more.

Addressing media person at the Shillong Press Club, Mr Verma make it clear that the party will go alone in the election MLA without having any alliance with any political party. The party is focusing for the election in Meghalaya, and the National President himself Mr Sharad Pawar will attend the party meeting.

While criticizing the congress government whom they are giving outside support said that the government has done nothing for the development of the state. Mr Verma defended the party in supporting a state government led by the Congress, “ We support the government to avoid midterm poll”.

The National member of the NCP, Mr Verma announce that Mr Saleng A Sangma an independent MLA from Garo Hill has become an associate member of the party. With his association its will boost the party, this is the sign that the NCP party is growing in Meghalaya. He also make it clear that the MLA from Shillong South Mr Sanbor Shullai is the state president of the party.
