Shillong, May 19: The election result for the 2-Tura By-Election is yet to be announced officially by the returning officer to complete the official procedure, but taking from the vote poll the Nationalist People Party (NPP) candidate Mr Conrad Kongkal Sangma wins the by election by a huge margin against the congress candidate Smti Dikkanchi Dalbot Shira.
The total vote poll in this by election of the 2-Tura Parliamentary Constituency is 484127 vote, from this the NPP Candidate got 329407 vote and the congress candidate got 137282 vote and the NOTA is 16597 vote, vote left to be counted is only 750 vote till filling of these report.
From the 42 Legislative Assembly Constancy, the NPP Candidate lead in the 23 LA Constituencies, the Congress Candidate lead only from the Chief Minister Constituency Ampati LA Constituency, The Congress Candidate lost to the NPP Candidate in her own Constituency Mahendraganj.
