Shillong January 07: In a joint operation the Police of Meghalaya and Assam succeed in arresting the Mawhati Legislator Mr Julius Dorphang from one place in Guwahati last night and today morning he was brought to Shillong.
When reached Shillong Mr Julius was taken to Laitumkhrah Police station since the FIR file by the Chairperson of the SCPCR with the said police station. Sources said that he will be produce before the court today.
After the lower Court has issued Non-Bailable warrant to the accused Mr Dorphang, the police has alert all the entry and exit point in the state and others state in the country to arrest if he was found anywhere in the Country.
Mr Dorphang after knowing that the court has issued a Non-Bailable warrant against him he did not surrender before the court or to any police state, tills he was arrested yesterday from one of the police in Guwahati for his alleged that he was raping a minor girls.
