Tura, July 20: The Mahendraganj Police Station received an FIR on 12/7/2023 from Shri Juda Ch Marak of Kawahagra village that on 11th July 2023, at around 11:45 PM, some unknown Armed persons wearing camouflage dress forcefully entered his house and took Rs. 11,600/- .
The Miscreants threaten the complainant that they would return again to take more money and threatened to kill him. In this connection, a case vide Mahendraganj PS Case No. 20 (07) 2023 U/S. 447/ 506/ 394/ 34 IPC has been registered and investigated.
In this connection a counter-insurgency operation was launched led by Shri. Naman Kumar, IPS (P), Officer–in-charge, Mahendraganj Police Station and other personnel of South West Garo Hills DEF.
The team successfully arrested three accused persons involved in the crime namely, Mr. Walseng A Sangma of Purakhsia, under Dalu Police Station Mr.Rakkam M Sangma of Adangre village and Mr. Batseng A Marak all are from WGH District,
From these three person who were arrested by the police, they also recovered two nos. of dagger one Small and one long, camouflage dress and one Motorcycle (Glamour) B/R No.ML 08A 8035 from the possession of the arrested accused persons which was used for committing the robbery. Investigation is on in the case.
