Shillong, June 26: The political party KHNAM castigate the Public Health Engineering Department that the water supply coming from Mawphlang to the Shillong city is dirty, that what the party alleged against the department.
The allegation made from KHNAM have been confirm by the state government commission the State Development Reform Commission (SDRC) that the water supply from Mawphlang Dam is dirty, this report has come from the state government commission.
From the KHNAM all along has voice this issued many times but the government has turn a deft ears to the allegation made from the KHNAM, but this time the government commission only has stated in their report that the water supply from Mawphlang Dam is Dirty.
In the press statement issued today to the media houses, the Youth Wing President of the political party KHNAM, Mr Thomas Passah said that from their party they have written many times to the department on the issued that the water coming from Mawphlang Dam is dirty.
But the department has taken no step to rectify the problem that they have committed but this time it it’s the state government commission that come out with the report that the water coming from Mawphlang Dam is Dirty, which justified the allegation made by the KHNAM.
