Shillong, May 25: The Chief Minister Dr Mukul Sangma said that the state government has appoint the senior most IAS officer Mr Y.Tsering as the Chief Secretary to the Government of Meghalaya in place of Mr K S Kropha.
The Chief Minister told SP News Agency that, the then Chief Secretary Mr KS Kropha after the pronouncement come, the then Chief Secretary asked the chief minister to relief him from the post he is holding and the state government has appointed Mr Tsering to take charge as the Chief Secretary.
Mr Tsering is addtional Chief secretary to the government of Meghalaya, and he ia senior most from among the IAS officer serving in the state where he is now appointed as the Chief Secretary.
