Shillong, July 20: The Sports Department of the North-Eastern Hill University organized the NEHU Inter College Badminton (Men & Women) and Table Tennis Men and Women Tournament from 18th to 20th July 2023 in the Indoor Stadium, NEHU Permanent Campus, Shillong.
The tournament was organized for the students of University and its affiliated colleges. The tournament ended with a presentation ceremony, where Prof. K. Debberma, Dean, School of Social Sciences, NEHU graced the occasion as Chief Guest.
Prof. L. Kma, Director In-charge and Shri N. Das, Asst. Director (Physical Education & Sports) cum Convener of the tournament were present among others and gave away the prizes to the winners.
In Badminton for Men Shillong College is the winner and Kiang Nangbah Government College Jowai Runner Up. In women, St. Anthony’s College, Shillong is the winner and Shillong College is the runner up.
In Table Tennis in Men, NEHU Shillong is the winner and St. Anthony’s College, Shillong is the runner up. In women, Shillong College is the winner and NEHU Shillong is the runner up. The tournament was organised in NEHU Umshing.
