Shillong, April 05: The Chief Electoral Officer of Meghalaya P Naik has refer the complaint against the Chief Minister Dr Mukul Sangma for using the Pawan Han helicopter in campaigning in Garo Hills for the party candidate has refer to the Election Commission of India.
The CEO is awaiting the respond from the Election Commission of India, The District Administration from West Garo Hills in the report said that the Chief Minister used the helicopter in campaigning in Garo Hills had been hire by the Meghalaya Pradesh Congress Committee.
The MPCC hire the helicopter after getting the No Objection Certificate from the Meghalaya Transport Corporation. The Chief Minister has used the helicopter for election campaign after the MPCC paid to the Pawan Han Rs. 50 Lakh.(SP News)
