Shillong, March 15: The Chief Minister Dr Mukul Sangma today in his replay to the question asked by the leader of the opposition Dr Donkupar Roy on the vacancies of post in the rank of MCS and MPS in the state the Chief minister inform the house that there are 42 vacancies in respect of MCS and 15 in respect of MPS.
The Chief Minister said that the government has sent the proposal to the MPSC to conduct the direct recruitment for the post of the MCS on the 6.3.2017 and for the post of MPS direct recruitment is being processed. All this vacancies is a accumulative in this last five years.
The delay in the process for this direct recruitment is due to the changes in the syllabus in which the cabinet has approved recently. In his reply to the supplementary question on the process of selection the Chief minister said that the selection process for the MCS and MPS are the same.
