Shillong, December 14: Mr. Viksah Gupta Ward Commissioner Shillong cantonment Board who is also an activate social worker yesterday the 13th 0f December 2016 at 19 South Constituency shillong had distributed huge volume of medicine at the function organized by an NGO LUM JINGSAI.
Medicine meant for needy and poor section equally distributed to the people of urban as well as rural areas, He said when asked by the news reporter “when government fails to look and consider this issues being citizen of the nation.
On humanitarian ground The wards commissioner Mr Vikash Gupta contribute medicine towards society in his short speech he said that if we all come to one common platform and work together we can win over such poverty which is not less than cancer in our surrounding, he also appreciated LAMJINGSAI for organizing platform with such noble cause.
Speaking on behalf of Lamjingshai the project manager Smti Samanda N. Phanwar said “when government are not reaching the poor and needy some good people like Mr. Vikash Gupta comes with the hope and the light to the needy and poor which is highly appreciated again.” Function also attended by Smti.
