Shillong, January 10: The winter festival of Baghmara which is better known as ‘Tysam’ has been deferred to 16th and 17th of this month. This was informed by the Deputy Commissioner of South Garo Hills District.

As per earlier schedule, the festival was supposed to have been held on 12th and 13th of this month, which however has clashed with dates of annual Baptist C.K. Sobha (Convention) being held at Baghmara; and hence, the deferment of the event to the dates stated above.
