Shillong, June 15: Thirty-One Karatekas of the Association lead by Mr Donboklang Lyngdoh, Mr Arjun Sewa, Mr Pynhunlang Kharbuli and Mr Sunil Rathee, as coaches and managers will participate in India Open International Karate Championship 2023 to be held on 17th & 18th June, 2023 at Talkotara Indoor Stadium, New Delhi.
The following are the names of the Karatekas who has been selected to represent the State: Men- Wilson Mylliem Pdah, Damebanmerbha S Blah, Damebanmerbha S Blah, Kmenlang Shabong, Gideon Tympuin, Shandarson Nongrem, Alferius Kharsyiemiong, Bhawanchwadame Lyngdoh Mawphlang.
Davyson Kharkongor, Nangkitbok Phira, Albert Jana, Cheltis Shylla, Iohbor Mylliempdah, Paul Danny Kharmudai, Evanmedon Rynghang, Albert Jyrwa and Gary Daniel Lyngdoh Mawlong.
Women – Inlumlang Skhemiew, Anisha Wahlang, Daphishisha Shadap, Aibiangpormika Lyngdoh Mawphlang, Daphilahun Wahlang, Kynjailin L. Mawnai, Carene Sohiong.
